ART MILES

Born in Syracuse New York, Art Miles moved down to sunny Florida in 1979 and has called it home ever since. 

After graduating from UCF in 1993, Art got a job as a video editor, cameraman and disc jockey at a production company in Orlando.  After six years of weddings and corporate events, Art began editing and producing at Fox 35 News in May of 1999.

In 2003, he put together a pilot episode of a show called Overtime with Art Miles which aired for a 6 week run on WFTV-9 on ABC in Orlando.  After the test run was over, the show resumed online.

Almost right away at Fox, he began working with David Martin on his segment called eNews; airing twice a night on Fox 35 news at 10.  In 2011, Art and David created The News Remixed which began airing in Orlando, and soon after, to the Fox owned stations around the country.  Three Emmy awards later, The News Remixed took Art to the job of co-creator and co-host on the Fox 35 program The Cue.  In 2014, Art created the web show called Gods & Monsters on YouTube.  With his co-host Greg Mohn, Art followed the Central Florida comic book store during its construction phase, grand opening and eventual move to another location.  The show continues today for store events, movie premieres and many special surprises.  Another web show was created in 2018 called The Fort Wilderness Podcast with the help of his two daughters.  For seven years, starting in 2017, Art became News Director at South Seminole Academy in Casselberry, Florida where he taught TV Broadcasting to a new generation of stars,  He constructed two podcasts studios at South Seminole and Lake Howell High School. 

Starting in 2025, Art constructed his third podcast studio with his new position at Tangel-Rodriguez & Associates.  This new studio can be found at Studio226Orlando where it focuses on helping people with their questions on Elder Law.
